Will I be able to upload music files in .m4a and other formats in the future?

Chris Burkhalter Jul 04, 2017 10:49AM EDT

Prior to emusic's recent revamp, I could upload .m4a files to My Music. At the moment, I am not able to do so. I notice, though, that .m4a files that I previously uploaded can be streamed in My Music.

A great deal of my music library is in the .m4a format. Will I again be able to upload files in this format later?

Thanks!!

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your question. Yes, you will be able to upload .m4a files soon. We just have not been able to priories that feature yet. I know the team is working to build a sync agent to better support the built upload of large music files, so I will ask them to consider making .m4a upload capability part of that build.
